Michael H. Antonelli

Experience & Expertise

Michael H. Antonelli has been managing his own finances since he was a teenager.  While his original intent was to pursue law in some capacity, he found himself lured by the excitement of Hollywood to work in media and film production, and even considered being a talent agent himself.  Still, the significance and importance of wealth management tugged at him, particularly while he witnessed some of the bad decisions and even disasters wealth can cause when approached in the wrong manner.

Early in 2025, after 10 years in the film industry, he took a leap of faith out of the Hollywood lights to pursue a career in wealth management.  A chance referral through a philanthropic connection caught the attention of The Hock Group team leader, Lana, and Michael has kicked off his journey as our newest financial advisor associate for the new year 2026.   

Education & Professional Designations

Michael earned his Bachelor of Science degree in political communications from Ohio University.  He holds Series 6, 7, 63 & 65 FINRA/NASAA licensing, along with a California life, health and accident insurance license.  While currently participating in an intensive wealth management training program at Baird, Michael is already looking to the future of his career. His professional goals include the pursuit of additional, planning-specific designations as he refines his skills.

Family & Community

Originally from Ohio, Michael and his partner Hadley live in Del Mar, California with their Airedale Terrier named Kipper.  An Ohio native, Michael is an avid Cleveland Cavaliers fan; he enjoys playing basketball, taking long walks with Kipper, and skydiving.  Years of working in Hollywood made him a movie buff, so he enjoys winding down with a new movie on the weekends.  He enjoys outdoor activities in the beautiful beach areas of Southern California, and also proudly boasts being a frequent trivia night champion with partner Hadley.  He actively volunteers for the FACE Foundation and THRIVE in San Diego, and hopes he can use the skills gained in this new career path to help those in need.
